Great selection; over priced
The selection at this Cabela's location is more than adequate for both firearms and accessories, but what they make up for in selection they lack in realistic prices. They are easily over priced by a few hundred dollars, and a quick trip to any of the local FFLs will earn you the reward of cheaper prices. Some of the staff at the gun counter are knowledgeable about the guns they are selling, but some of them have minimal knowledgeable beyond getting your transaction done. Because of such a big selection it is likely that if there is a gun that you want to hold to get how it feels in your hand, they will have it, and you can do so without feeling like you are pestering the staff at a local shop or otherwise tying them up when they could be making sales to other customers.
In short, they have a wide selection of guns and accessories, but it is unlikely that you will find a deal here.
