Rifles and pistols may be used on either range. Shotguns are allowed if firing slugs only. Individuals wishing to use the range need only bring firearms, ammunition, and paper targets. A no-cost shooting permit is required for each shooter. Permits are available at the range.
This is a marksmanship range, no rapid fire
.50 BMG rifles/rounds are not allowed
Muzzleloader's are allowed
Armor piercing and tracer rounds are prohibited

Please read and understand all range rules before shooting. Public access to the range is strictly prohibited Monday through Thursday. Special events and Hunter Education courses may be conducted at the range during the week with prior approval and proper permits from the Area Manager. Target practice anywhere else on the wildlife area is strictly prohibited and heavily enforced. This includes BB guns, paint ball guns, and archery equipment.
