Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

AB164 would expand prohibitions on buying firearms to anyone under a restraining order from any jurisdiction

AB18 would create an excise tax on handguns and semi-automatic rifles

AB61 would add more people to the list of people that can file for a 'red flag' protection order

SB55 would make anyone convicted of two or more misdemeanors a prohibited person

SB61 would limit sales of all firearms to one per month

AJR4 is a joint resolution asking congress to pass universal background checks

AB688 would require all firearms left in vehicles to be in a steel box that is secured to the vehicle frame

SB281 would end gun shows at the cow palace by basically seizing the property

AB1064 would add multiple restrictions to firearm dealers

AB1602 would prohibit advertising or selling insurance for protection during a carry incident

AB1297 would add additional local fees to carry licenses

SB701 would remove the prohibition for owning firearms from people with an outstanding felony warrant

AB1669 would regulate sellers of ammunition sellers at gun shows

AB1096 would make the state a shall issue state but does add quite a few restrictions

AB879 would ban the importation of 'precursor' parts as well as update signs at the border announcing their restrictions on firearms and ammunition

SB376 would redefine 'infrequent transfer' to include all firearms

AB893 would ban gun shows at the Del Mar Fairgrounds

AB1493 would modify the state's extreme risk protection order to allow the subject to voluntarily surrender their weapons

SB914 would require 18-20 years olds buying a rifle to show a valid hunting license and the clerk must verify the license and document the information from it

AB2061 would allow DOJ to inspect all firearm and ammunition dealers at gun shows

AB2847 would revise the 'approval process' for 'unsafe' handguns by requiring microstamping of handguns. The bill would also remove several handguns from the approved list
