This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for Hawaii.

SB2002 would make it a crime to handle a firearm with a blood alcohol level of .08 or more

HB1598 makes concealed carry licensees harder to get and more expensive

HB1600 would basically outlaw lending firearms

HB1599 would remove the one year length of time a permit to buy a firearm requiring a new one for each purchase

HB1615 would make it illegal to possess a firearm if your blood alcohol level is at least .08

HB1734 would require a purchase permit for every rifle and shotgun sale with the permits only being valid for 10 days

HB1733 is a 'ghost gun' bill that would outlaw parts kits

HB1736 would outlaw all magazines that hold more than 10 rounds

HB1737 would make carry license application cost go from $10 to $100, would change law so only the attorney general can process them and would require the person applying to have taken a safety course no more than 180 days from the application date

SB2154 would ban all magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds

HB1790 would clarify that a person does not have a duty to retreat in self-defense situations

SB2152 would require a purchase permit for all firearms that would expire in 10 days

SB2201 would set up a statewide gun buyback program

SB2151 is a 'ghost gun' bill

SB2519 would outlaw magazines that hold more then 10 rounds

SB2626 is an 'assault weapon' ban bill

SB2456 would make any convicted of drunk driving twice in 10 years a prohibited person

SB2518 would transfer the issuing of carry permits to the attorney general's office and would require all applicants to have completed a firearms training program within 180 days of the application. It would also raise the application fee from $10 to $100

SB2635 would require anyone buying ammunition to show their 'registration' for the gun they are buying the ammo for and a second form of identification

HB1967 would expand self-defense law and state that there is no duty to retreat

SB2437 would remove the restriction on stun guns

SB2517 would require purchase permits for all firearms

SB2743 would remove the ban on stun guns

SB3053 would add '50 caliber guns' top the list of prohibited weapons

HB2736 would regulate the sale and transfer of ammunition

SB2943 would make it illegal to make a firearm without a serial number and would outlaw 80% receivers

SB2811 would change law regarding lending firearms to require the person borrowing it to be license and the firearm must be returned within 12 hours

HB2232 would add multiple new reasons to prohibit a person from owning firearms and ammunition

HB2479 would require the state to reimburse those found not guilty of a crime in self defense cases

HB2746 would repeal current law that allows sheriffs to issue firearm cards to aliens

HB2465 would permit 'Nationals of the United States' to apply for firearm purchase permits

HB2229 would make it even more difficult to get a carry permit

HB2744 would create the Hawaii gun violence prevention center and fund

SB3054 would require those who have moved out of the state to notify Hawaii within 5 days that they have moved their guns out of the state
