Are class sizes reasonable?
Is the trainer patient with beginners?
Awesome! Blew my expectations away
I was a guest of a friend and was skeptical based on some research I had done of Front Sight beforehand, but I was very impressed with the facility, organization, course material, time management, SAFETY mindset, and could not have been more impressed by the instructors. It was a great time and I walked away with a lifetime membership and can't wait to go back.

4 Day Defensive handgun
Amazing class that improved my response time and accuracy. Only complaint was the heat in the full sun, try to go when the weather is better. (June)

Why not 5 stars?
Front Sight's focus has changed with the times. When I attended my first class in the 90's, most of the shooters were "operators" of one type or another.
Now the focus is on new shooters. The curriculum is essentially the same but with the focus on noobs the advanced tactics have been broken off of the Defensive Handgun class.
I think the training and trainers are absolutely top notch. Naish loses a star because of the marketing. I realize he needs to make money (500 acre+ facility with dozens of ranges) I just don't like being marketed to.
If you're near Vegas, you will not be disappointed by the very high level of training everybody receives. Noobs leave with the basics and safe mindset to perform better than most people will ever be able to. They also learn that you should never stop learning.
BTW, never pay the MSRP for his classes. You can find deals on the website for about $200 for a 4 day long class.
