Legislation Overview

Title: CRIM CD-PEPPER SPRAY-AGE

Description: Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Provides that carrying an object containing a non-lethal noxious liquid gas or substance designed solely for personal defense is exempt from the offense of unlawful use of weapons, regardless of the age of the person carrying it (currently, the exemption is limited to persons 18 years of age or older). Effective immediately.
