Description: To amend sections 2151.34, 2903.213, 2903.214, 2919.26, 2923.20, 2923.21, 2923.211, 3113.31, 5122.10, 5122.11, 5122.13, 5122.141, 5122.15, and 5122.99 and to enact sections 311.51, 2307.68, 2923.133, 5502.71, 5502.72, and 5502.73 of the Revised Code to provide for issuance of safety protection orders; to address LEADS and NCIC inclusion of protection orders; to provide for seller's protection certificates under a new background check mechanism; to modify procedures and criminal offenses related to firearm transfers; to modify the laws regarding certain provisions related to mental health treatment; and to express the intent of the General Assembly to appropriate specified sums of federal funding under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to be used regarding a behavioral health workforce and crisis infrastructure expansion.
