Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 54 and Title 55, relative to the safe storage of firearms.

Subject: Transportation, Dept. of

Description: As introduced, requires the department, in the months of November 2023, February 2024, and May 2024, to use its existing permanent electronic overhead informational displays located on the interstate system to provide periodic messages to the motoring public that encourage the safe storage of firearms; allows the department to develop guidelines, in consultation with the department of safety, for the content of a message to be placed on the displays. - Amends TCA Title 54 and Title 55.
