AN ACT ASSISTING MOBILITY-CHALLENGED SENIOR CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Rehabilitation Services, in consultation with the Department on Aging, to provide scooters or other assistive devices to mobility-challenged senior citizens who lack sufficient funds to purchase such equipment themselves.
Statement of Purpose:
To aid mobility-challenged senior citizens to participate in more activities.
