House . . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Taddeo) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 111 - 121 4 and insert: 5 101.019 Ranked-choice voting prohibited; exception.—A 6 ranked-choice voting method that allows voters to rank 7 candidates for an office in order of preference and have ballots 8 cast be tabulated in multiple rounds following the elimination 9 of a candidate until a single candidate attains a majority may 10 not be used in determining the election or the nomination of any 11 candidate to any local, state, or federal elective office in 12 this state.
