AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4166 




2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4166 by replacing 
3lines 6 through 11 on page 2 with the following:

4  "(3) Except as otherwise provided in paragraphs (3.2) 
5 and (3.3) of this subsection (a), carries or possesses 
6 Carries on or about his person or in any vehicle, a
tear 
7 gas gun projector or bomb or any object containing
noxious 
8 liquid gas or substance, other than an object
containing a 
9 non-lethal noxious liquid gas or substance
designed solely 
10 for personal defense carried by a person
18 years of age or 
11 older; or
12  (3.1) Sells or delivers to a person under 18 years of 
13 age an object
containing a non-lethal noxious liquid gas 
14 or substance
designed solely for personal defense; or

15  (3.2) Carries or possesses an object
containing a 
16 non-lethal noxious liquid gas or substance
designed solely 
17 for personal defense if the person is 14 years of age or 
18 older and under 18 years of age and does not have the

1 consent of the person's parent or guardian; or 
2  (3.3) Carries or possesses an object
containing a 
3 non-lethal noxious liquid gas or substance
designed solely 
4 for personal defense if the person is under 14 years of
