HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Noble "Andy" Stubblefield is retiring after 38
3years of work as a dispatcher, first as a volunteer at the
4LeRoy Communications Center and then at the McLean County
5Sheriff's Department and Metcom in Bloomington; and
6 WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield has supported emergency
7services in central Illinois in a variety of capacities,
8including as a former EMT-B, photographer, radio operator, EOC
9radio operator for civil defense, and communications officer;
10and
11 WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield was an original member of the
12McLean County ESDA Maintenance Group, now the McLean County
13Emergency Management Agency Operations team; and
14 WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield goes above and beyond by
15volunteering his time as a Disaster Volunteer for the American
16Red Cross of the Heartland and in numerous other leadership
17roles as board member, treasurer, and secretary of emergency
18services groups and associations; and
19 WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield is the owner and operator of
20Central Illinois Communications Consultant, sharing his
21knowledge and expertise with other agencies and departments;

2 WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield is a Master Mason and a lifetime
3member of Bloomington Lodge 43; he is also a member of the
4McLean County Shrine Club; and
5 WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield plans to continue to stay active
6and involved in ensuring safety and preparedness in the McLean
7County area and the State of Illinois; and
8 WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield has been married to Paula
9Stubblefield for 32 years; together, they have a deep love for
10their animal family members; therefore, be it
11 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
12NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
13congratulate Noble "Andy" Stubblefield on the occasion of his
14retirement and wish him continued success and happiness in the
15future; and be it further
16 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to Andy Stubblefield as a symbol of our esteem and
18respect.
