SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary Patricia Pierceall; and
4 WHEREAS, Mary Pierceall was born on June 27, 1957 to
5Richard H. and Katherine (nee Rafferty) Pierceall; she
6graduated from Aurora University with a degree in economics;
7and
8 WHEREAS, Mary Pierceall worked as a realtor and a
9collection account manager for a doctor's office; she owned a
10manicure business and was a partner of a painting contracting
11business; most recently, she was a self-employed political
12consultant and professional fundraiser; and
13 WHEREAS, Mary Pierceall's involvement in politics
14escalated in 1990 when she ran for Aurora alderman-at-large;
15the following year, she was elected a Republican Precinct
16Committeeman, a position she held for 20 years; she was highly
17sought after for campaign advice, for making contacts for
18candidates, and for fundraising; she enjoyed trips to
19Springfield and to Washington, D.C. for political business; and
20 WHEREAS, Mary Pierceall was affectionately known as
21"Nammy", "Tiga", "Phenomenal Anomaly", "Sweet Meet", and

1"Conqueror"; she enjoyed family vacations, traveling, and
2spending time with her family; and
3 WHEREAS, Mary Pierceall was preceded in death by her
4father, Richard; her sister, Sandra; her mother-in-law, Wilma;
5and her brother, Richard; and
6 WHEREAS, Mary Pierceall is survived by her granddaughter,
7Brooke; her daughter, Brandy; her husband, Joe Sachen; her
8mother, Katherine; her sister, Teresa; her brother, Mikey; her
9son-in-law, Chris; her father-in-law, Lee; her sister-in-law,
10Jackie; her sister, Kathy; her nieces, Melissa, Taylor, Amanda,
11and Jessica; her nephews, Ryan, Johnny, Adam, and Mike; her
12sister-in-law, Kathy; her nephews-in-law, Jeff, Kyle, and
13Kevin; her brothers-in-law, Al and Chuck; her close friends,
14Deb, Kay, Della, Laurie, Joanne, Ellen, and Beth; and numerous
15sisters, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives, and friends;
16therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
19Mary Patricia Pierceall, and extend our sincere condolences to
20her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
21further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
