1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 624.71, is amended to read:
1.7624.71 GUN CONTROL; APPLICATION OF FEDERAL LAW.
1.8    Subdivision 1. Application. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, it shall
1.9be lawful for any federally licensed importer, manufacturer, dealer, or collector to sell and
1.10deliver firearms and ammunition to a resident of a contiguous any state in any instance
1.11where such sale and delivery is lawful under the federal Gun Control Act of 1968 (Public
1.12Law 90-618).
1.13    Subd. 2. Contiguous state purchases. Notwithstanding any other law to
1.14the contrary, it shall be lawful for a resident of Minnesota to purchase firearms and
1.15ammunition in a contiguous any state in any instance where such sale and delivery is
1.16lawful under the federal Gun Control Act of 1968 (Public Law 90-618).
