STATEMENT
This bill would require the Division of Travel and Tourism to create and maintain a list of large-scale wall murals located within the State and provide information about them, including the address of each wall mural, on the division's website. The information would be searchable and available in an interactive format through the division's website, and would be provided in conjunction with information about other nearby destinations for visitors to explore, including other artistic and historic sites and places available for dining, entertainment, recreation, and shopping.
Currently, the Division of Travel and Tourism maintains an interactive website that users can use to search for arts and cultural destinations in the State; however, the search function does not filter results related to wall murals specifically.
